‘Improvisational Molding’ Using Concrete

Smart Design senior interaction designer Carla Diana took 4 days out of her busy schedule to immerse herself in concrete in a workshop led by Tejo Remy, a Dutch contemporary designer and partner at Atelier Remy & Veenhuizen. Remy, who is known for his unique approach to furniture design using reclaimed and commonly-found materials, took 8 design professionals (Carla being one of them) and 12 students from a number of institutions to experiment with

The event was organized by Drexel’s University’s Mike Glaser, Program Director for the institution’s new Product Design program.
