Puma’s ‘Clever Little Bag’ Reduces Shoe(box)’s Footprint

(Via IDSA’s designBytes)

Last week, Puma and fuseproject unveiled a design that, according to many observers, could alter forever the way shoes are packaged. The Clever Little Bag aims to cut paper usage by 65 percent and lower manufacturing waste by 60 percent. Naturally, there would be a correlative savings in money for the company as well. Has Yves Béhar, IDSA and his team of collaborators devised a game-changing solution? We can’t say for sure at the moment, but the potential to have that kind of effect appears to be there.
