Cleaning Up with Natural Fiber-Reinforced Plastics

The Skooper is a garden tool used pick up garden waste without having to deal with the inevitable sharps sticks, glass or present the neighborhood dog left for you. It’s available in powder-coated sheet metal or the new lower-cost plastic version which is molded out of GreenCore’s NCell 40-PP which is polypropylene with 40% natural fiber reinforcement using wood fibers. Used in place of glass fibers or mineral fillers, their natural fiber fill has the equivalent tensile and stiffness to glass, is non-abrasive to the tooling and extruder, lighter weight, performs better after regrinding and, of course, makes Mother Nature smile.
